The information we collect
Information you give us. When you request our strategy, register for an event, or ask about a partnership, we collect the details you enter — typically your first name, last name, and email address, and any information you include in a reply to us.
Information we collect to reach out to you. We run a business-to-business outreach program for mortgage loan officers and financial planners. To do this we obtain professional contact details — name, work email address, job title, company, and professional profile links (such as LinkedIn) — from business data providers and public professional sources. We only use verified professional email addresses; we do not guess or fabricate addresses.
Information created when we email you. When we send you an email, our email delivery provider records standard delivery information (for example, whether a message was delivered and, where applicable, opened or its links clicked) so we can manage list quality and honor opt-outs.
Website information. Our landing pages are static and set no advertising or analytics cookies. A hidden anti-spam field on our forms is used only to detect automated submissions.
Why we use your information and our legal basis
We use personal information to:
- send you the strategy, materials, or event details you asked for;
- carry out business-to-business outreach that we believe is relevant to your professional role;
- respond to your replies and arrange calls or partnership discussions;
- keep our records accurate and honor opt-out requests; and
- meet legal and compliance obligations (for example, email marketing law).
For people in the United States, our outreach is conducted consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act: every message identifies us, includes our physical mailing address, and offers a clear way to opt out, which we honor permanently.
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- your consent when you submit a form to receive materials; and
- our legitimate interest in reaching relevant business professionals for business-to-business outreach — balanced against your rights, and always subject to your right to object and opt out.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run this program, each acting on our instructions and under agreements that protect your data. These include:
- a customer relationship management (CRM) provider, our system of record, where contact and activity data is stored;
- an email delivery platform, used to send and manage our outreach;
- a business data provider, used to source and verify professional contact details;
- a scheduling provider, used when you book a meeting with us; and
- an infrastructure and hosting provider for our servers.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep contact information for as long as needed to run the outreach program and our relationship with you, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. If you opt out, we keep the minimum information necessary to ensure we do not contact you again.
Your choices and rights
- Opt out any time. Reply to any of our emails with "unsubscribe" (or a request to be removed) and we will stop contacting you and suppress your address permanently.
- Access, correct, or delete. You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- Object. Where we rely on legitimate interest, you may object to our use of your information for outreach.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
Our services are for business professionals and are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
